About the author
Founder of the Collectif Francrochet, which promotes crochet throughout the French speaking world, and cofounder of Canada Crochet Pros, Julie Sarah Desjardins is a designer, pattern tech editor and translator, as well as a crochet teacher and coach. Her patterns have been published in about a dozen magazines in Québec, the United States and Europe, and in 5 books. Driven by a love of sharing her craft, she now works full time on ACCROchet, her crochet business, after a career in communications and media. She lives in the Laurentians.

Fondatrice du Collectif Francrochet pour promouvoir le crochet dans la francophonie mondiale et cofondatrice du regroupement Professionnel·les Canadien·nes du Crochet, Julie Sarah Desjardins est designer, réviseure et traductrice de patrons, ainsi qu'enseignante et coach de crochet. Ses patrons sont publiés dans une douzaine de magazines au Québec, aux États-Unis et en Europe ainsi que dans 5 livres. Animée par la transmission de sa passion, elle s'investit à temps plein dans ACCROchet, son entreprise de crochet, após une carrière en communications et médias. Elle habite dans les Laurentides.
